Safety instructions:
l These units must only be programmed outside the potentially explosive location.
l When operating in potentially explosive locations, the programming cables
may only be connected to the 0 V outside of the potentially explosive area.
l The switching output draws the switching energy from the power supply to the
pressure switch. No additional energy is introduced into the electrical circuit
through the switching output.
l The dual Zener barriers specified and approved in the technical data must be
used to connect the pressure switch.
These have a reverse polarity diode to decouple the signal.
The signal path may only be passively loaded.
l Ensure that measured fluids in contact with the pressure switch are compatible
with the materials used.
